Reseller and affiliate frequently asked questions
How do I avoid getting in trouble for sending spam to my clients and prospects?
Spam is e-mail sent to people who have not specifically requested it. It is typically fair game to e-mail your clients, and you may also send e-mails to ezine subscribers and other prospects who have specifically asked for more information from you.
If you send e-mail to anyone else, you may be spamming them. Klick2Kall does not advocate spamming in any way, and it is a violation of our terms of service for resellers and affiliates to send out unwanted e-mail (also known as unsolicited commercial e-mail) to anyone for any reason.
An opt-in list is a list of subscribers to your newsletter or ezine that have specifically requested to receive your ezine and/or other information from you via e-mail.
We strongly recommend that you use a double opt-in process to capture the names and e-mail addresses of prospects. In other words, a person comes to your website, enters his/her e-mail address and other personal information, and submits it to your newsletter distribution system. The system then generates an e-mail to that contact requesting that the person confirm their subscription. This 2-step process is called double opt-in, and it is considered best practice in the e-mail marketing industry to ensure that you do not accidentally spam someone who is signed up for your ezine against their will.
